Booking the villa was the smoothest part of the whole process. Hands down best bang for your buck! Located a couple blocks from Cruz Bay and all the food joints. Hawksnest Beach is a 5 minute ride on a taxi and is probably the most kid (5 & Under) friendly beach.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a wonderful stay while at the Villas At Cruz Bay June 3-10, 2024. The villas are at a perfect location for arriving at St. John. And the vibrant colors greet you and immediately make you feel the island vibe. Parking was easy in front of the Villas. We were celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday with Family and each of us occupied a different villa that were appropriately named after different beaches from the island. Each Villa was decorated with bright colors and had that island feel. Every villa had a kitchen that was well stocked and we were thankful for both the Keurig and coffee maker. The rooms were comfortable and provided air conditioning, as well as enough space to stretch out. We stayed in the two bedroom villa, Hawksnest and had a nice large living space and dining area. We especially enjoyed a large deck accessible by both bedrooms with great views. The villas were stocked with snorkel gear, chairs, and a wagon and coolers that allowed us to have what we needed for the beaches, as well as for caring groceries back from the Markets that were walking distance from the Villas. We loved being walking distance from many restaurants and bars in Cruz Bay. We even were able to frequent a couple of our favorite bars during the week to enjoy frozen island drinks or have a round or key lime shots after enjoying meals at some fantastic restaurants. The beautiful beaches of St. John are a short drive away and there are so many wonderful hikes near by. There are so many things we have yet to see and explore on St. John. We will definitely be back. And we look forward to staying at the Villas at Cruz Bay when returning to St. John. The villa was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we could have needed (we stayed in Honeymoon). The location is easily walkable to lots of restaurants and bars, including on the beach. There’s a pickleball court very close, and balls/paddles were provided! The most incredible beach I’ve ever seen in my life was just a few miles away (Trunk Bay). Selfishly, I almost don’t want to write this review to keep this gem hidden! Villas at Cruz Bay was perfect in every way. Excellent location a short walk from restaurants and taxis to beaches. Renting a car is easy with all the local rental places on the same street as the Villas. The actual unit was wonderful. Cozy, well maintained, enough towels, kitchen appliances, etc. I also appreciated the availability of beach chairs right there in our unit. Villas’ staff was responsive to every question we had. A true Caribbean charm with clean, comfy, well equipped rooms in every aspect. From snorkeling gear, coolers, beach chairs, floaties to beautiful outdoor kitchen where you can prepare your catch of the day. The owners are the greatest guide to activities, shopping and dining. They will help you arrange fishing trips, car rentals and get you best deal at the same time. Fishing was an absolute blast! Snorkeling absolutely breathtaking and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The outstanding customer service, responsiveness and wonderful hospitality gained another guests for next year. Outstanding service, beautiful place, exceptional experience! Our stay at The Villas at Cruz Bay exceeded our expectations! Can't thank you guys enough for a MUCH NEEDED NO DRAMA/HASSLE vacation. 5 minute walk to everything. Some of the best snorkeling in the world and thx for providing snorkeling gear, chairs, cooler etc. The snorkeling here beat our Maui trip. So many different fish here. And of course sea Turtles! Friendly sharks and stingrays were amazing. Fishing was outstanding. Finally caught my Mahi Mahi along with tuna, barracuda, rainbow runner and others. Made dinner for 3 nights in our fully equipped kitchen. Mahi tacos the best ever! Went out to walk to grocery store and our friends (2 donkeys) were waiting for their back scratch. Pick a direction and go. All beautiful on st.john. 8 days not enough. Staying longer next year. You’ll have plenty of time to contemplate how good of a decision you made renting one of the Villas at Cruz Bay when you’re napping on a secluded tropical white sand beach next to the therapeutic sounds of crystal blue waters dancing on the shores of a secret no roads access beach (like Salomon Beach)... Just do it! You’ll be so glad you did. Book one of these Villas and thank yourself once you arrive. This island is magical and adventurous in ways you have to experience to understand. And let’s face it, there are few things that make it easier to enjoy a vacation than having a comfortable, clean, safe, perfectly located, private, well managed, place to lay your head at the end of every adventurous day. These Villas were all that and more and absolutely added to the unbelievable overall experience on the island. The location of the Villas is perfect! Walking distance from everything… the ferry so there’s no need for a car, the best restaurants (like The Refinery, Yum!), the best night life, hidden white sand beaches, shops, the market, morning cafe, and more. Even if you want to rent a jeep for the day and explore the entire island, that’s easy too. The best rental car company in town is literally next door (Mr. Pipers Jeeps). The Villas are perfectly placed. Just close enough to walk to the action, but also just far enough away to get a good nights sleep when the local night life just keeps going. The Villas are perfect. They are as advertised and more. The management team is spectacular. They went out of their way to make sure my experience was enjoyable. I loved relaxing at night on the new deck, grilling up dinner while watching the sun slip over the edge of the earth. It’s evident that the owners have put a lot of effort into creating a great experience. From the snorkeling gear to the dedicated air conditioners in the bedrooms (which is a major bonus for sleeping and more rare than you might think on a secluded island), to the outdoor surfboard shower to rinse that beautiful white sand off before lounging on the decks… these Villas were just right. We stayed in Hawks Nest, and it was exactly as described - no surprises! the communication was excellent, and it was such an easy process from booking to leaving. I love that so many Cruz Bay restaurants and bars are within a 5 to 10 min walk from the villas. The recent renovations are really nice...can’t wait until the rest is finished! The Villas At Cruz Bay are clean, comfortable and include snorkel gear + beach chairs / cooler with each Villa. They even have one of those insect zapper tennis racquets! Haha. Plus Jeep rental is right next door! These villas are a great value.Load more
