There is absolutely NO SMOKING in the house. If you smoke outside, make sure to clean up and throw out any cigarettes to avoid extra cleaning charges. 

Please leave the house in the same state that you received it. Wash any dishes and clean/wipe down after yourself. If the property is excessively dirty we will have to deduct the cost of a deep-clean from your deposit.

Please be mindful not to bring sand into the house, if you do, please clean it up.

Please do not take any towels, snorkel gear, utensils, or anything else from the property when you check out. You are welcome to use it during your stay. Anything missing will be deducted from your deposit. 

Please only use beach towels for the beach. The bath towels should only be used inside the house.

Any used beach towels should not be placed back in the bin but instead put on top of the bed for washing.

Please do not move furniture around. Everything needs to be in the same spot that you found it when you check out.

IMPORTANT: Please do not turn the A/C below 72 deg F/ 22 deg C.  On very humid days, ice tends to form on the coils if set colder than 72F / 22C and the A/C unit will freeze up .  If this happens, the unit will cease to blow cold air, your villa will warm up quickly and it can cause permanent damage to the unit.  There is nothing that can be done to “fix” them once they freeze, short of letting them thaw out, during which time you will have no A/C. 

IMPORTANT: Please turn off lights and air conditioning when not in the house. Electricity is 10x more expensive than in the states and leaving the ACs running all day while out of the house will result in a very expensive electricity bill.

Make sure to not throw anything other than toilet paper in the toilet and even toilet paper is best to throw in the trash to avoid a clogged toilet.

Please do not pour any bleach or other chemicals in the toilet or sinks.

Please be mindful when using water as it is in short supply on the Island. Our water comes from rain and is collected in a cistern, during dry season water is very hard to come by.

Please do not leave plates/utensils in the patio common area.  Each Villa has a specified number of place settings and cooking utensils that are inventoried upon your checkout.

VACB provides TV access through Roku.  To use, simply:

• Press the Power Button on the Roku Remote 
• Click “Get Started” to enter Roku Guest Mode
• Enter Your Departure Date
• Click “Start Streaming”
• Sign into any of your streaming accounts (such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc) or watch free Roku TV
• On your departure date, you will automatically be signed out of any streaming accounts you have connected!  
• Note too that the remote will also control volume!

Please turn off air conditioning when not in the house.
